WHEN MAN ENTERS WOMAN
When man
enters woman,
like the surf biting the shore,
again and again,
and the woman opens her mouth in pleasure
and her teeth gleam
like the alphabet,
Logos appears milking a star,
and the man
inside of woman
ties a knot
so that they will
never again be separate
and the woman
climbs into a flower
and swallows its stem
and Logos appears
and unleashes their rivers.
This man,
this woman
with their double hunger,
have tried to reach through
the curtain of God
and briefly they have,
through God
in His perversity
unties the knot.

Quan home
penetra dona,
com el rompent que mossega la sorra,
una i altra vegada
i la dona obre la boca de plaer
i les dents li lluen
com l’alfabet,
Logos apareix munyint una estrella,
i l’home
dins la dona
hi fa un nus
perquè ja mai
no se separin
i la dona
s’enfila dins una flor
i s’empassa la tija
i Logos apareix
i deixa anar els rius.
Aquest home,
aquesta dona,
amb la seva doble fam,
han intentat passar a través
la cortina de Déu
i breument ho han fet,
tot i que Déu
en la Seva perversitat
en desfà el nus.
